Sunday, March 26, 2006 I'm beginning to hate Sunday nights as it can get dreary. And I can smell the blues of Monday on Sunday.But yet, on the other hand, at times, I do enjoy spending time alone on a quiet Sunday....catching up on sleep, etc. Ahh...how I wish I could go on a short trip. A much needed break to clear my mind, to relax & to enjoy the beauty of things & life that there is. Saturday, March 18, 2006 Today was D-Day. The day where I survived 6 hours of 'battle' but will only know if I had emerged victorious in end June.Yes, my exams which explains why I haven't been blogging of late. Been busying mugging for my exams. I even took a week leave to study for it. Don't know why but this is one of the most nerve wrecking exams I have taken so far. Maybe I'm just giving myself the pressure & perhaps, cuz this course is paid for by my hard-earned money...hehee. In the meantime, I can only keep my fingers crossed that I'll pass. Friday, March 03, 2006 The FIFA World Cup trophy was on displayed at the Suntec Singapore Convention Centre for one day as part of its tour. Apparently, the trophy is made of gold & it's worth millions.I went to take a look during office hours (hehee) since it's free & I had the ticket. Before going to the viewing gallery of the trophy, we had to sit through a 10mins 3D-video. Wah...like watching Star Wars cum LOTR. Afterwhich, we proceeded to a room where the trophy was displayed & had to queue up to take complimentary polaroid. Didn't had a good, long look at the trophy cuz everything happened so quickly.  Queue up, then a guard will usher you to take your stand beside the trophy..."poom" take photo...then walk to a side to collect. Then, next person will come on, so on & so forth. The FIFA World Cup 4 years ago brought back some memories. Come to think of it, it was really funny. We had sort of a central command centre where everyone will gather to watch the matches & placed our bets. I think I am one of the only girl in the group who watches soccer for the sport that it is & not because there are handsome players....hehee. |
