Wednesday, April 19, 2006 By now, some of my friends would already know that I have found a new love. This new guy that I'm seeing for the past one week. Many would probably think it's too soon.....afterall, I just ended my last relationship about 2 months ago. And it's not that I had expected or plan for such thing to happen so soon. Well, I guess that is why life is so unpredictable & fate plays an important part. Sometimes, things do happen for a reason. And it's like God does have a plan for everyone and that HE has sent me an angel after what I had been through and I'm really really thankful for that. But I do feel guilty & bad about moving on so quickly & had this feeling that I had abandoned someone. Falling in love & being loved in return is such a wonderful feeling. But it also scares me cuz I'm afraid of losing something good....afterall what had happened to me for the past week seems too good to be true. Nonetheless, I take comfort that this new guy treats me really well (am keeping my fingers crossed that it's not because it's the honeymoon period) & who knows....maybe he's really THE ONE? Wednesday, April 12, 2006 Went to catch the comedy play called "The Magic Fundoshi" directed by Glen Goei at the National Library Drama Centre last Sunday. It was a hilarious and cleverly scripted play. Very much R(A) but artistically done. And as usual, Hossan Leong is such a funny man...just by looking at his face! Enjoyed the show & of course, the company that I was with, tremendously. So well, lately, I've been seeing someone new......a clear respite to my otherwise boring single life. It may be too quick to say but sometimes, somehow when you meet a certain someone ...it's as though you have known that person for a very long time even before you met him/her. It's a weird, surreal feeling that's hard to explain. Friday, April 07, 2006 Here's the photo taken of me together with the Ukrainian male model (his name is Boyan).Drool!!!
Tuesday, April 04, 2006 I had the most 'fantabulastic' April Fool's Day ever last Saturday (though what happened sure ain't a joke)!Had lots of fun shopping with a girlfriend but before that, something wonderful happened...thing that don't happen often (or at all) to a plain jane like me...hehee. We were watching a fashion show at my workplace that evening and there were 4 male models from Carrie Model. Woah! They are really gorgeous! My fav. is this model from Ukraine. He has such sharp features & charming eyes, one can really melt!! hahaa. My colleagues from the A&P (Advertising & Promotions) Dept who handle the project teased & asked me if I want to take a photo with my fav. model after the show. And I thought they were kidding....but when the show ended, one of them went up to the model at the side of the backstage and told him I want to take a photo with him! My gawd, I was both flustered & excited! He's really really tall & I was so shocked, I was speechless except for a couple of thank-yous (what an idiot! I could have at least tell him, he has nice eyes or something...duh!). Anyway, we took a pic & just when I was about to go, he said hang on & planted a peck on my cheeks! Gosh, I swear my cheeks were all flushed (this fact can be attested for by my friend who was standing below the stage) that I'm sure all those below the stage must be wondering I must be crazily smitten with a model who's not even a celebrity! Siao! Anyhow, it was as if I had transformed into an 18 year-old groupie...haha. But it was really a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Once my colleague send me the pic, I'll post it here. Saturday, April 01, 2006 I'm getting all nervous & excited about a date which I'm going to next week. So long never go on such dates already (since the word 'date' is a general term used when a guy & a gal who are not in a serious relationship goes out). We're planning to catch a play & dinner. I'm looking forward to the play though. It's a comedy production by Wild Rice...so I'm hoping we'd be able to get the tickets. It's a pretty weird feeling but I'm trying to enjoy every moment there is now while I can cuz who knows things might change. Guys being guys....they're often very sweet & nice to you, remember everything you say or do everything you say in the initial period....but that changes when things get serious. Sad but true, hehee. I was chatting on MSN with a former-boss (how nice!) and he gave me this analogy - A relationship is just like an investment. You have to bet on the 'right horse' (but one wouldn't know, would we?). Anyway, so in any investment, it's either you win or lose. And he said you also have to know when to cut your losses. Well, that's pretty enlightening & it set me thinking to a certain point. So I think I might be ready to meet new people (though definitely not into a relationship) and see how things go from there. Whatever happens, happen. Whatever don't, don't. At least I made an effort to step out of my shell. |
