Friday, December 29, 2006 My last post for 2006.It has been somewhat of a rollercoaster year for me. Quite a number of things had happened in these 12 months. Some good, some bad.....but I must say overall, it has been a sweet year for me. 1. Ended a 5yr relationship. Not an easy decision to make but I didn't have much choice cuz it's not going anywhere and I'm not getting any younger. The longer I drag, the more frustrated I get. But I wouldn't say that relationship hasn't taught me a thing or two. It definitely has. I believe even in any bad things, there will be good things & vice versa. Well, at least Mark & me didn't end it in a bitter way & we're still friends & I do really wish him all the best. 2. One day out of the blue, I just decided to sign myself up on match.com for fun & I didn't expected I will find THE ONE there. How funny fate turns out to be. Just abt two mths into my singlehood & when some of my single girlfriends were welcoming me into their "world", I got to know Michael through match. And as what they say, the rest is history. 3. Got a pay increment which comes in at a very handy time. 4. Became an auntie to my sister's daughter - Genevieve. She's cute & really like to smile!! 5. Got 'ROM' on 9 Dec 2006. Exactly 8mths Michael & me held hands & became an item. Good friends were so happy for me & said I never looked so blissful. Till this day, I still thank God for sending me this "gift". I can't believe I'm actually a Mrs now but it sure does feels good. And I'm happy to be Mrs Long as long (no pun intended) as Michael treats me well. Not sure what the outlook for 2007 would be but I know it is going to a busy one for me as wedding preps get along the way. I may also be looking for & getting a new job, if luck & opportunity presents itself. At this, I want to thank those who have been faithfully following my blog & wishes everyone a Happy Blessed New Year & may 2007 bring greater joy & better health to all! Till then seeya around next year!! :) Friday, December 08, 2006 A pic of the LV speedy bag I bought from LV boutique in Bordeaux. Went to the LV shop in Ngee Ann City last weekend to check out if they carry the collection here already and how much my bag cost...hehee. Apparently, I only saw the new collection in the bigger size type of bag. The speedy bag for the new collection is not in yet. Saw a few customers flipping through the catalog and placing their orders for it. And when I was browsing around, the few who were placing their orders turned & look at me (or rather my bag). Woah! At that moment, I felt so special ahaha....so haolian man! But for once only lah...since hardly I'll buy myself luxury goods, what's more, one that Singapore has yet to carry...hehehee. |
