Tuesday, July 26, 2005 I know it's a bit too soon for another post (given that my last post was only yesterday) but it's one of those days where I just feel like ranting & complaining.The 10 things I hate: 1. Cheapskate & calculative people These are the freebies-seekers who grab free stuff thinking that it's their entitlement, when it is actually a privilege. These are also the people who ask for a yard when an inch is already given to them. 2. People who likes to "act smart" These are the people who think they know everything, when in fact they know nuts! Some think just because they're educated, they are smart. Yeah, right. 3. People who engages their mouth before using their brains In a harsh one word to describe these people- "stupid". 4. People who don't understand the meaning of "No" & the existence of "Terms & Conditions" These people are the ones who refute the T&Cs of things. Read: People who also like to "act smart". T&Cs are put in place to ensure consistency & fairness, though a certain degree of flexibility is also allowed on a case-by-case basis. But there're people who abuse it & want things to go their way. If everyone has their own set of rules, why in the 1st place, does a company sets T&Cs? Read: This group of people also belongs to Pt. 3. 4. Rude people These are the people who think they own the world & the world owes them a living. But that doesn't give them the right to yell at & abuse people verbally or otherwise. In fact, I find rude people are a pathetic lot cause most often, they don't have real friends. 5. Inconsiderate people These are the people who like to block the entrance/exit way of the train & people who rushes in when the commuters are trying to alight. What I hate is also people leaning against the pole meant for holding on in the train, thereby, not allowing other commuters to hold on (for their dear life when the train jerks). So what I like to do is, is to hold on to the pole & stick my thumb out purposely, thereby, poking that person if he/she is leaning against it. If he/she feels the discomfort, they'll most likely refrain from leaning. And it works most of the time *grin* 6. Back-stabbers / Bootlicker These are the people who like to kiss their bosses' ass. Basically, they are the ones who have nothing else better to do than to spread rumors & who can't use their capability to prove their worth/existence in the company, thereby, the need to resort to underhand means. 7. Bigots Unless when these people prick themselves with a needle & their blood is purple (i.e. royal blood), then they probably have the right to be one. Else, be it yellow, white, black or brown skin, we are still all of the same human race cause our blood is still red. Enuff said. 8. Waking up in the morning for work when its raining & the weather is perfect for a sleep in 9. Being broke 10. Being lied to |
