Thursday, August 04, 2005 Can ex-boyfriends/girlfriends still remain friends after the end of the relationship? Most break-ups will end up with this - "we can still be friends". But really, who are we kidding? Once a relationship turns sour, we wouldn't even want to have anything to do with the other party. But once time passes & the wound is healed to a certain extent, I believe it's possible. There are real-life cases where I know it can be done. But to do that, I believe both parties must be ready, with no hard feelings. Funny thing is, if both parties are still single after the breakup, hanging out as friends is still possible. But that changes once one has a new partner. Perhaps, to appease our new partner, it would be good to stay clear of "ex-es". It's difficult to explain but somehow that's how things are. |
