I was given a pair of complimentary ticket to attend the Gala Premiere of King Kong, presented by Nokia on Tuesday night.

Nothing is expected less from the acclaimed director Peter Jackson (who also directed Lord of the Rings). Overall, it was a good show despite it being 3 hours long. And the visual effects were equally amazing.

I know it's just a movie but somehow it evoked a certain kind of emotion & thought from me. Why do humans always think that guns, destruction or violence is the solution to all problems? Think 911, Sydney racial riots, etc. Sometimes, we humans are the ones who seek trouble (as the saying goes in Chinese - No trouble go find trouble) and sometimes, somethings are better left untouched or disturbed.

Well, shame to say, I cried nearing the end of the show cause it's so sad. Ok, I shan't reveal too much else I'll spoil the fun.

But just be prepared to warm the seat and don't drink too much water.
