Wednesday, December 07, 2005 It's nearing the end of the year again & time really flies. Before you know it, I will hit my thirties soon. Scary.Anyway, December is also seemed as a joyous & celebratory month. Besides X'mas, there would also be the impending bonus. Though I don't expect much cuz mine would be pro-rated since I had only joined the company in April. One thing I missed working in my previous company (besides the zany & close-knitted colleagues) is the BIG FAT bonus. The first time I had so much... don't know what to do. So I squandered it. Yes I did and I don't even know on what exactly. Which explains why I am so broke now. Well, I've learnt my lesson. December is also be a "broke" month cuz there are so many X'mas dinners to attend & pressies to buy. But I like December. Hmm...maybe next time I would name my daughter (in my dreams) December? Anyway, if there's a Santa Claus out there...I want to tell him I have been a good girl this year so please grant me my X'mas gift. Or any of you who don't mind doing your bit for charity this care & share season. So here's my list (not in rank & order). What I want for Christmas: 1. DVD player 2. Fashion accessories (my fetish this season, necklaces! Boho, quaint, quirky) 3. Nice bags, shoes or apparel 4. Cash-in-kind 5. New computer monitor What I REALLY want for Christmas: 1. A new digital camera (Price: $500) 2. Sponsored permanent hair removal treatment (Price: $2,000) 3. Fully-paid trip to New Zealand (Price: $3,000) 4. Fully-paid trip to Bangkok (Price: $800) 5. Gucci sunglass ($300) What I REALLY REALLY want for Christmas: 1. Good Health for me & my loved ones (Priceless) 2. World Peace (Priceless) 3. Pay-raise (Priceless) 4. Lesser "dumb-ass" people (Priceless) - oops, hope Santa didn't read this. 5. Being loved (Priceless) |
