I'm getting all nervous & excited about a date which I'm going to next week. So long never go on such dates already (since the word 'date' is a general term used when a guy & a gal who are not in a serious relationship goes out).

We're planning to catch a play & dinner. I'm looking forward to the play though. It's a comedy production by Wild Rice...so I'm hoping we'd be able to get the tickets.

It's a pretty weird feeling but I'm trying to enjoy every moment there is now while I can cuz who knows things might change.

Guys being guys....they're often very sweet & nice to you, remember everything you say or do everything you say in the initial period....but that changes when things get serious. Sad but true, hehee.

I was chatting on MSN with a former-boss (how nice!) and he gave me this analogy - A relationship is just like an investment. You have to bet on the 'right horse' (but one wouldn't know, would we?). Anyway, so in any investment, it's either you win or lose. And he said you also have to know when to cut your losses.

Well, that's pretty enlightening & it set me thinking to a certain point.

So I think I might be ready to meet new people (though definitely not into a relationship) and see how things go from there. Whatever happens, happen. Whatever don't, don't. At least I made an effort to step out of my shell.
